This was our second time staying here in the last six months, and it was just as good as the first. There was only availability for the premium rooms this time, but they're absolutely worth the extra money. We were on the ground floor which I was a bit concerned about as it was right next to the front door and next to the busy road and street, and although I heard a couple of people come into the hotel during the night, it wasn't overly disturbing.

There was a crack in one of the window panes.

Great host, who also gave us advice on where to take our kayaks.. Lovely cottage, right on the river with everything we needed. Huge comfy bed in main bedroom with great views of bridge & river, plus extra bedroom & the parking space was very useful. Great location for 5 mins walk into town. Lots of restaurants for eating. Would definitely recommend & will definitely be back.

It was cheap and near a tram stop. And while the room needed a thorough cleaning the bedding was clean. And the breakfast was good. I knew I was paying a cheap price and to expect you get what you pay for.

The hotel staff wouldn’t let me in, they let my partner in but left me outside until another group member come to let me in. I was stood outside in the rain for around 45 mins at 1am. I wasn’t doing anything wrong, so didn’t understand his reasons for not allowing me inside, although he allowed my partner in literally seconds before hand. She’s female, I’m male.

great breakfast. A little bit far from the city centre.

Comfortable room, evening meal, decor.

No loo rolls in the room on arrival, not even a loo roll holder! Served stale muffins in Eggs Benedict at breakfast, replacements were nice and fresh.

Location and large comfortable bed

The bed sheets thread bare. The tiles in bathroom moved due to missing grout. The wall behind the bed looks like a bottle of champagne had sprayed it. Needs a good doing up

Very accommodating.
