The bathroom was small, but well set-up, nice decor, loved the jacuzzi tub and rainfall shower. Provisions were well though through, from toothbrushes and paste to the shower caps and bin bags. The kitchen was homely and had all the facilities needed for a long stay.

The curtains let the sunlight in which interrupted our sleep. I would advise getting blackout blinds or curtains.

Good central location and friendly and helpful staff. Excellent pub for food next door and a lovely Indian 2 minutes walk down the road. Room was clean and tidy with everything we needed.

No central light in the room and could have maybe done with some bedside lamps either side of the bed rather than just one in the middle of the headboard.

This hotel is literally in the heart of the city, near to all the shops, interesting places te visit etc. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Te hotel itself is quite outdated and noisy for a 4-star hotel. I stayed 3 nights in a standard room with breakfast. The chlorine smell in the bathroom by arrival was overwhelming. The floor is covered with an old carpet which gave me an unclean feel.

Our bathroom was really quite dreadful , toilet was old , no toilet brush and floor tiles all marked and very worn also so old as was the wash hand basin and shower, all very old and tired and in urgent need of upgrading. Our view out on go car port very depressing

First of, was left waiting at reception for the manager to check room was available, considering I did not get there until late in the afternoon, I think it was pretty unprofessional. The room was dirty, the heater wasn’t working, they didn’t get maintenance to fix it , they only offered me an extra duvet. I was freezing the duration of my stay. The staff were not interested in how cold I was. Terrible staff.. an absolutely horrendous time , and I paid £180 for two nights with no heat… I was crying the majority of the time . I want my money back
