Great location for Gunwharf Quays shopping and Portsmouth train station/harbour. Rooms are small but comfortable, slightly affected by the noise outside from night time revellers but hotel itself was quiet. Breakfast was acceptable with enough choice to suit most tastes. Great parking prices, first 24 hours free and then £2 per day.

Thought my booking was for a room with twin beds but was given a double and a sofa bed. Advised that twin allocated if available.

The beds were comfortable and for the most part, the room was quiet. The TV was good quality, the WiFi was great and the food at breakfast was great.

The fridge in our room was very noisy, and the motion sensor light's tendency to turn off when we were still in the bathroom was slightly infuriating.

Lovely location, lovely gardens. Nice bar and bright and airy breakfast room/restaurant.

Dated decor, tired interior particularly on the 4th floor. Booked a sea view which we had. Problem was the window was so small only one person could look out at a time. Room looked nothing like the smart, tidy room in the photograph when booking. On the 2nd morning, we realised we only had 1 set of towels left for showering. Buffet breakfast was decent when the trays were refilled.
