Very good location with so much to do in the area! We went to Alexandra Palace (Ally Pally) for a show, iceskating and enjoyed a wonderful view from up there. It is a short bus ride from the property. There is also a shopping centre with Primark and 2 cinema and plenty of very nice restaurants and pubs. The house itself was very beautiful, spacious, clean with brand new equipement such as coffee machine, juicer, dryer. We will be back :)

Good clean room, good size bed. Bathroom good, shower over bath with shower curtain bit dated but still OK. Good location beside river and in walking distance to major attractions such as Jorvik Viking Centre, Shambles, YorkMinster, town walls and National Railway Museum. Dining room was Ok but limited menu choice of 4 for main meals but menu changes daily. Good parking underneath building at an extra cost .

Some of the older staff did not seem interested and just going through the motions. The younger one’s polite and personable. Just our observations.

Rude receptionist upon arrival. Had issues with toilet and originally told maintenance would review on our departure. Following an email a nice staff member on the afternoon shift on Sunday allowed us to change rooms to allow us.to sleep without the constant run of water. Bar staff could not do enough. Just one of receptionists upon arrival spoilt our initial start to weekend away.
