We had another fantastic stay at the Duplex Margate and the facilities were as great as ever. The little touches of a mini bar and snacks make it special. A home from home. It's our go to place when visiting Margate and Cliftonville, and will return as soon as we can.

The venue and gardens were absolutely beautfiul. The rooms were well furnished and the staff were very helpful.

The mattress was uncomfortable and could probably do with being replaced. We were woken and disturbed by the fire alarm several times in the morning. staff were kind in offering their explanation that it was being triggered by guests burning toast at breakfast but this appears to be an ongoing issue that has not been resolved.

Room looked tired, Lots of staining on carpets in the room and in the corridors. Carpets were ruffled up in parts of the corridor, which to some could cause a trip hazard. Seemed expensive for a very basic room
