I have traveled to 17 countries and stayed in countless hostels. No hostel has ever charged extra for a guest's bag. Everything in this hostel costs money. They sell you a lock for the locker in your room. They charge extra when you want to leave your bag when you leave the hotel. There are always children under 19 in the hostel. The receptionist gives you a bed according to nationality when placing you in the rooms. There are not enough showers on each floor, there are 4 shower cabins but 2 of them are broken. I stayed 3 days and none of them were fixed.

The bed was to die for - I want one!! The body wash was also excellent - I hope I can find the same type in Australia! Breakfast included - sooo good! Plenty to choose from and friendly helpful staff. Reception staff very welcoming, friendly and polite:)

Nothing really - I think the bathroom - if ever being refurbished, would be better with a walk in shower rather than a shower in a bath tub!

Great location. Interesting historic hotel. Staff friendly and helpful. Lovely restaurant - food excellent including breakfasts. Clean rooms Parking not too far - we used Endeavor wharf long stay.

. En-suite tiny and would benefit from being a shower rather than a bath & needs some tlc. But not too bad and sure this will be sorted soon.
