Staff were excellent and everyone we bumped into were really helpful and friendly. Very easy to locate and the room was excellent for the price. It was clean and today. Breakfast was nice and simple and staff were on hand to help if any issues. Very happy with our stay.

The only issue was with the breakfast eggs. No need to rush an egg lol But no other complaints and would happily stay here again.

Really great location in walking distance to just about everything. I was right on the canal side so it might get noisy at the weekend but when I stayed it was really nice and quiet. Room was clean, and had all you would expect. I would definitely stay here again.

The cooked breakfast of scrambled egg and salmon was very good but we would have expected to also have had toast and marmalade/jam afterwards. The two dinners were also good though service was a bit haphazard.

The room was disappointing and depressing - horrible brown carpet, brown curtains, brown headboard. The bathroom was cramped with very restricted access to the bath. It was also unbearably hot as the towel rail was red hot with no means of turning it down. As it was sited above the end of the bath it was potentially dangerous as it would be easy to burn yourself on manoeuvring in and out of the bath.

I was really ill with food poisoning and was charged extra to check out 2 hours later despite the fact I was vomiting and had no energy, so not much understanding considering the circumstances. I was also trying to rest in these extra 2 hours, but was woken by staff twice since they were not made aware that the check our was delayed so I thought this was bad communication between them. Hotel was nice, but quite dated.
