  after my girlfriend went the other year with her friends she said what a great time she had. Being a straight male with my girlfriend I was a little ermmm but what can I say I have never had so much fun in my life. I have been to drag acts the funny girls absolutely fantastic and the hotel you couldn’t ask for more everyone was lovely and so friendly. Would I go again 100 percent yes loved every minute and the beer £2.60 a pint seriously straight or gay this place is amazing and Thankyou everyone for having us

  Welcoming and cosy decor. I enjoyed sitting in the bean bag in the bay window and watching the world go by. It seemed to be recently renovated. New kitchen and bathroom. The shower was nice and powerful. Included basics such as tea/coffee/sugar which was very useful! The little snack box with crisps and biscuits was a nice touch. Location was good, a quick walk to the city centre. The local cafes were lovely! Hosts were efficient and communication was good. Basic, clear instructions.

  The door!! The outside door is such a piece of work! The key sticks and is very difficult to turn, very unpredictable. We dreaded going in and out, knowing the battle of the door was ahead. The sofa. The sofa is so uncomfortable... we sat on the bean bag or on the floor in the end. Little things like the zippers being broken on the cushion covers. The bottom drawer in the bedroom was broken and hanging off. Not fully cleaned, the shower had some sort of shower gel on the tiles and by the door. There was a big red mark on the button of the cooker hood. Residue marks on the hob. Really dusty under the bed and side tables (wouldn't usually go looking underneath furniture...! We used under the bed to store our bags). We were celebrating my boyfriends 40th Birthday so I paid extra for a "celebration package" which was very disappointing. A banner (fine) and a few balloons which were half deflated, just looked sad really. Not even abit of helium or stand. Not worth the extra £25 at all.

  Well equipped kitchen. Instruction manual for all appliances. Welsh cakes, tea/coffee and fresh milk in the fridge was the perfect welcome pack. Local shop within walking distance and Tesco short drive away. Perfectly situated for Brecon Beacons and waterfall country.
