The Copthorne Tara is in a great location, a 5 minute walk to High Street Kensington tube station. The hotel was also really reasonably priced for one of the most upscale areas of London. The staff were professional and genuinely concerned with my comfort and convenience. The hotel is well serviced, very clean, and mostly in good repair. I arrived before check-in time, and was able to store my luggage for the hour before my room was ready. The view from my room featured 3 major London landmarks! The bed was comfortable, and the shower was hot with good pressure. Overall, I was satisfied.

Although I knew before arriving that the room only had a mini-fridge, I found the lack of a kitchenette, or even just a microwave quite inconvenient. The furnishings and overall look of the hotel, could use some updating. The lobby seating was particularly shabby.

To be honest there is not much to say about this property. Everything was excellent. Only thing i would say is that shops are not nearby but didnt bother me as much

The location of the Stockport hotel was excellent. It was next to the railway station and close to the town centre. It was also easy to get to many places by public transport such as the local buses.

I was horrified by the "computer booking problem". My flight into Man Airport was delayed so I did not reach the Stockport hotel until after midnight. The night porter David told me the hotel was FULL though I had booked WEEKS previously via Booking.com. He arranged for me to be transferred free by taxi to another hotel in the group in Manchester east. The cock up resulted in me not being able to go to bed til after 2:00 am!! The following day I had to be ferried back to my original hotel where I should have been accommodated in the first place. This is unacceptable customer service.

the street outside was busy and loud, but it wasnt a big issue when you closed the window, the walls are quite thin as well, but overall it was a very good place to stay at

Property was very poor - obvious rubbish around the property and the house was small and dank. The host was hostile when we said we weren’t prepared to stay - told us we would end up sleeping on the port.
