How does it work?

  • 1

    It starts with a booking

    It starts with a booking

The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.

  • 2

    Followed by a trip

    Followed by a trip

When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.

  • And finally, a review

    And finally, a review

After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

  • Paramount Hotel Midtown

    - “Everything was perfect: the hotel, the facilities, the staff, the amenities, etc. When we arrived, they made us a free upgrade to our room offering a suite. The room was amazing, large and comfortable spaces, with view in Burj Kalifa. The room was very clean and smelled so fresh and nice. Qasam (the cleaning staff) was excellent and went overboard to his cleaning abilities in order to offer a great experience, while he showed kindness, respect and willingness to help us in everything that we wanted. All the personnel in the hotel were absolutely professionals. A very modern hotel, with a big variety in the breakfast and with all the amenities that someone would need when travelling abroad. Highly recommended and for sure we will come back again if we visit Dubai again. Thank you for this unique experience!”

Great location, good breakfast. Pool and sauna are nice. Staff was very friendly in general. Only negative thing for me was the value for money. It’s just too expensive for what you get.

Had a front room this time and a bit noisy on Friday night. Market stalls being unloaded early on Saturday morning. But not a major issue really. Some shelf space in bathroom would be useful.

The pull out beds were mattresses on the floor. One of them half covered by a radiator and the other directly under a window. So the option was to either sleep with a radiator in your back or directly under the window. The rooms were stifling so needed the window open therefore crating a draft for those having to sleep under it. The room looked more like a hostal than a hotel, the rooms were tired pains coming off the walls, flooding coming away. The shower pole was rusty and the grouting filthy in places. The tv has a crack down it, the floor boards creaked terribly. When the manager was approached about how bad a night we had she did not care and just kept repeating that they have just started a refurbished of all rooms so next year it would be fine. She said she had to rely on guests and staff to tell her things about the conditions as she was too busy to look at all the rooms and their condition. But no interest in the slightest of how the conditions impacted her guests. There was no ownership of the situation instead excuses , that didn’t help at all. The buffet part of the breakfast was poor and by no means value for money. Coffee was instant served from a flask croissants where burned and nothing was replenished, you had to go hunting staff down to ask for it yourself. This included milk for the coffee and even the cups and glasses. We came for a wedding and as we had travelled a long way to attend booked to stay on site. This cost us as a family of 3 £85 for 1 night inc breakfast. This was an extortionate price to get very little sleep due to our child being so uncomfortable. Due to the location and state oc the mattress on the floor, plus the fact that every time she turned over she fell off it and banged herself on the bedside cupboard. To be woken each time anyone went to the bathroom or attempted to walk on the floor boards. We dare not use the tv due to the crack so left nothing to occupy our child while waiting for the wedding.
