If you appreciate the calm, and the charm of the typical London architecture, you will feel at home. Clam, clean and comfortable. The hosts are available and answer quickly. I didn't try the jacuzzi.

The blinds on the window don't really cover the daylight, and there is no fridge or safe on the room. It's an old building, so the wooden floors and the walls don't offer much sound insulation, but that didn't disturb me.

Difficult to rate this B&B because some of it was lovely...eg the house, the welcome, the hospitality demonstrated by Louise, the breakfast etc but we really did not like our attic room.

Our room! It was clean & nicely furnished but just unsuitable for us. We found the stairs difficult & lost count of the number of times we bumped our heads on the sloping roof. We chose not to sleep in the double bed as getting in & out of it woild have been too difficult for us & we couldnt use the shower due to the sloping roof again. To be fair to Louise, we would have been moved to another room had that been possible but we really did not have a good night here.

Evening meal was good -chicken and chorizo special. Location is convenient and good to be by the river although couldn't really see it from inside.

View from window was onto a flat roof with a ventilation extractor unit straight in front - not what I envisaged when I booked a riverside hotel. They should at least provide some sort of blind which hides view to roof but still let's in light. Room seemed a bit dusty and curtain was missing hooks and hanging down at one end. Reception was a bit non-communicative and not very welcoming -he didn't initially respond verbally and left me wondering if he had noted what I had said or was occupied with something else. He was actually booking me in but a few words would have helped.

the property was very spacious, had a lot of room for the four of us and it gave us enough privacy.

the only thing that needed a little improvement was the cleanliness of the bathroom - it was okay, but it could be better

Extremely noisy (even top floor) claustrophobic rooms with difficult exit, plastic hospital mattresses on wildly squeaky bunk beds that would make noise on the smallest movement. We asked for a low floor, but could not get it and moved out after one night as most of us were unable to sleep, and even though we had paid for three nights. We complained, but no one seemed to notice.
