Location was ideal on the outskirts of Whitby. Breakfast was served in our room which was unexpected but very welcome and we really enjoyed the wide choice, ample to eat. Hosts were lovely and very knowledgeable.

Breakfast not relaxing. Upbeat music too loud for normal conversation. Staff seemed rushed. Limited choice on buffet, particularly not much fruit; only watermelon!

The first night the shower wouldn't heat up at all and it took 10 minutes for the hot water to come through hot in the sink. The second night, it heated up in 5 minutes. Then went cold about 20/25 minutes later, luckily I was finished. The kettle didn't work, tried to boil some water, it struggled then died WiFi doesn't work beyond the ground floor
