The location was good as it's only a few minute walk from Oxford city centre. Also, it was close to the botanic gardens. In terms of the rooms, I found the mattres really comfortable.

The hotel was showing to have a lot of amenities like laundry and room service. However, there wasn't any menu or a laundry bag in the room. Also the room I stayed in had a problem with its phone where I couldn't call the front desk. I had to chase them for 3 days to fix the phone but they always postponed and finally said that its not possible to fix. Also the room lighting was weird, you only get one main light switch for all lamps in room which includes a ceiling lamp. If you turn off the switch, you cant keep bedside lamps on. The Air-conditioning system did not work properly and was too loud when turned on. The rooms window was opposite an alley where cars parked and there was a garbage bin. Whenever a car drove by or someone throws something in the garbage I hear it too loudly.

The bed was sooooo soft and left us we massive back pains. The receptionist was moody rude and expected us to pay for items we did not use. And did not check that we had already paid for extras and tried to re charge us, as. If she owned the hotel lol.
