The place and the beds are not clean and very dilapidated. The area is a 40-minute drive from central London, and the neighborhood was considered a Jewish neighborhood, so the place was not comfortable at all, and the host was not helpful. We asked him to extend the checkout time by an hour and ask for an additional fee.

The apartment was tastefully done up, had a large screen TV, with Access to the wifi. Coasters to prevent damage to the fine furniture would help.

Lacked some essentials such as napkins and paper towels. We had booked for a week and supply of even tea and coffee was only for a day. One had to go shopping immediately on arrival to stock up urgent supplies such as salt. There wasn't a dishwasher so we washed on our vacation. The main problem was that we are senior citizens who had booked for a week's stay and had the commensurate quantities of luggage and, to our dismay, we found we had to negotiate two flights of steep spiralling stairs to reach the allowed apartment. If we had been warned of this before, we would never have taken up the apartment. In UK, better to go for modern hotels!

As an above knee amputee, I found the stairs a little of a hindrance, although I was offered a room on a lower level. But the stunning sea view was worth the climb.
