Fantastic location!! Great view from all rooms! Excellent facilities for cooking and family time together. Very clean. On-street free parking might be complicated due to distance and busy area, but it was not for us this time. Just to know- accommodation appears on all 3 levels- quite a few flights of stairs to climb if you are not fit- not a problem at all for us, but might be for somebody. Probably would be easier to collect keys from the box if you are travelling and not entirely sure re arrival time, however it was absolutely great to meet Richard who kindly showed us around. There are 2 double bedrooms and possibility for another 2 single beds, however I understand you need to notify hosts if you like to use as twin/single option accommodation even for 4 people.

This was my second visit to this wonderful location & what a welcome return it was. Beautiful place, fabulous surroundings & most glorious view to wake up & fall asleep to... sheer perfection! Just as last time it was spotlessly clean, wonderfully cozy & warm, with excellent facilities. I do miss my early morning & late night toast though so as I would very much enjoy a longer stay next time, I think I will be looking to book the larger chalet with some cooking facilities. The host/ owner Sharon is a pleasure to meet & it was a delight to see her again.

Found by chance when searching booking.com it sounded too good to be true! When we arrived we were amazed, this property is well above expectations and is situated on a beautiful park in probably the best location. A large, very well equipped and welcoming home from home with tons of extras that you wouldn’t normally expect for the modest price we paid. Spotlessly clean with high quality fittings, furniture and bedding and everything you’ll need for a wonderful break

There was excellent provision for our dog. The room was very clean and well provoded. The breakfast was excellent. We enjoyed the dinner but it was a little pricey. I was very pleased that there was an electric charger for my car. The location had lovely views with superb local walks.

The signage from the car park to the reception and the restaurant could be made clearer. The bed was a little firm.

Modern, comfortable apartment. Everything required for a great stay. 5 minute walk to Cardiff City centre with easy access to a local co-op. Comes with a parking space, so extra bonus points! The owner was very helpful. Would definatley stay again…

It had no lift and all rooms are spread across 4 floors with very narrow passages stairs, which made it very difficult for us to carry our luggage till 3rd floor. The beds and mattresses were horrible. Spring mattress and need immediate replacement. The rooms are not sound proof. The pub on ground floor was open till 1am and we could hear each and every song being played and loud noises of ppl singing and dancing which made it very difficult to sleep till 1am. The restaurant staff was quite rude in behaviour. Did not understand or communicate appropriately.
