The chalet is beautifully decorated, and takes you back to America. Everything was provided including tea , coffee, sugar , salt , mayo etc. Good range of cutlery, knives , pots and pans ,plates and bowls, chopping board , tea towels, washing up liquid and soap. The beds are very comfortable and we all had a good night sleep The host also thought of entertainment : there is a funky radio, books, and games , which kept us entertained on rainy days. On a sunny day the chalet gets quite warm, opposite on a rainy day. There is also a bath tub , which might be better than shower if you have small children. I would come back to this accomodation as Hemsby has lovely sandy beach, coastal path to Winterton and Horsey and is in close proximity of The Broads.

Noise the boiler makes when running hot water, toilet flush quite loud. The red sofa is not comfortable to sit on . Also a day before checking in I received this message: 'There will be 5 units of electricity for you to use, if you’ll need more then electric meter takes £1 coins.' This came as a surprise as I was not aware of this at time of booking ( never had I stayed in a chalet before so didn't t know about the prepayment electricity meters in those kind of accommodation) so just be aware that there might be additional cost if you are planning self catering as the meter will deplete quickly and if you use electric radiators provided (which we haven't used.)

Being able to leave the car in the car park all day on the day of check-out. Staff very friendly, with perfect level of banter. Buffet breakfast also very good value. Bed was very comfortable.

it was clean. nothing else comes to mind that was particularly good. in general things were acceptable but plenty of room for improvement

breakfast was ok-ish, but orange juice tasted like it was concentrated and someone had forgotten to dilute it. only had breakfast one day as didn't feel it was value for money room was quite cramped - nowhere to sit and read a book (other than on the bed which isn't ideal) beds reasonably comfortable nowhere to put clothes - need some storage space so can unpack suitcase: not good when staying for several nights

Lack of staff: -no bar staff for 15mins on 1st evening -one poor guy with one arm in a sling trying and failing to manage breakfast room.
