  The scenery and location are beautiful, like it says on the caption . The staff ( owners ) are really helpful to make your stay the best they can . It was a stress free weekend. We will be returning in the future

  The room was comfortable and the seating areas were comfortable as well. The Sunday lunch was good. The grounds are nice to sit out in. Overall a pleasant stay.

  The added costs of Parking, and use of the leisure facilities. The building is being updated so the lift was out of action. The bar could open earlier for morning coffees. You have to use a vending machine when the bar is shut.

  Breakfast was £24 each so we gave it a miss! It didn't tally up with how much I paid for the hotel. I wasn't planning to spend so much when it was only a stopover. Lobby toilets were not clean, kids running around in the lobby bar. Toilets had sanitary plastic bags down them. I suspect it was the kids. I reported it to a staff member. Room was available late. No reason given. I just could not understand paying approx £90 for the hotel for 2 people with a spa, then the breakfast being so expensive and kids running round like a kids club, I was not sure what the hotel wanted to cater to.
