The studio offered us greater flexibility than a hotel room with a kitchenette and dining table. Good breakfast was delivered to our door. Modern decor and exceptionally clean. A great location just a five minute walk to the town centre where there is a wide choice of tearooms and restaurants. The proprietors were on hand for advice and everything proved to be efficient

The whole establishment very dated, and the room wasn't clean. Extra towels were requested after only 2 were provided for our family of 4- they never materialised. Silverfish found on floor in bathroom, sink cracked & tap broken to the point each time we turned it on it fell off. Cuboard door broken fell off hinges when opened. The microwave in the room was revolting. Skirting boards thick with dirt & dust. Odd number of pillows on beds. My white socks turned black after walking around on the carpet. And my young children found the likes of sweets, a pin, and various bits of rubbish around the room that did not belong to us. Room on the ground floor, and we could hear every movement the floor above made. Overall, this hotel is certainly budget, some of the above points I could accept based on the price. However, broken items like the tap and the glass cabinet door would be easily fixed. They certainly need to assess their housekeeping standards
