There are many tourists, but it keeps its Greek charm.”

  Location very good. Benefit of parking on site. Short walk to sea front, pier and buses to Portsmouth, Gunwharf Quays and historic dockyard. Boating lake/park opposite. Cooked breakfast at hotel very good, fresh, hot and plentiful. Spacious room.

  Our ‘Glamorous’ room a bit tired in places. Photos online not quite true to life. Bathroom needed a revamp. Dusty/grubby skirting boards/tiles, grouting showing areas of mould in places. Floors felt grubby even on arrival. Guests/?staff smoking by front door, which was always open, drifted into our room quite a few times.

  Location is excellent. The breakfast was hot and tasty. The young serving girl breakfast was friendly and welcoming. The bar is well stocked and the bar staff friendly. Room was surprisingly quiet.

  The room needs the condensation problem sorting out, mould on window sills. The older lady serving at breakfast was unwelcoming and sharp.

  Great location to the Tower of London and other attractions. Close to the Tube. Walking distance to Cafes. Lovely staff who were all very helpful.

  The noise from the tube but too be expected being so close. Wouldn't stop us staying again. The lighting in the main living area could be better.

  We liked that we had a ground floor room and Free parking was available. Our host and the dining staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

  Our bathroom was very small and old. No exhaust, no towel rail, loose/ broken floor tiles. The mattress on the bed had a big dip in the centre of it, which was uncomfortable and not pleasant to sleep in.

  Quiet, in a busy location. We stayed in the Ferdinand Street rooms. Perfect for attending the Roundhouse, easy to find.

  Couldn’t really have the blinds open as very exposed, but not really an issue. Couldn’t get the TV to work but didn’t have time to worry about this as it’s more entertaining to be out in Camden!

  The location of the appartment is fantastic. For London-standards it might be okay ...

  ... still, the appartment is in poor shape. It looks different than the pictures suggest and is certainly not comfortable. You flood the bathroom when taking a shower, the electricity goes on and off, and the door lock does not lock properly - to name just a few issues.
