The house is beautiful and perfectly set up for a group to enjoy. The open plan kitchen with the large dining table was perfect for cooking, eating and playing games. My favourite part was the garden! We cooked a bbq using the provided bbq, spent time lounging in the sun and enjoying the hot tub. The location is only a 5 minute walk to the lovely beach with lots of lovely coffee shops and some pubs.

The room was large, light and airy with excellent facilities and a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was very smart and had everything we needed. Check in was easy and flexible and we found parking on street with no problem. The breakfast the next morning was excellent and the hosts very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend and will definitely stay with them again as our first choice.

There was nothing negative that was in the control of the hosts. There was a rather chatty rookery outside the window but I suspect this is probably only when they're nesting and there is nothing you could do about it anyway. They were quite funny to watch.

The location was great. Next to the bus and tram stops, very convenient, especially when it's raining. The room was nice, the mattress comfortable and the bathroom clean and with everything needed. The lack of a fridge in the room can be solved by asking at reception to keep your drinks cold in the fridge they have.

There was barely any room to open the luggage and/or store clothes. Every time you need something you have to open it on the bed, then close and put it away in a corner to be able to walk in the room

Lovely room, extremely comfortable bed and incredible surroundings - could have spent my whole stay watching the peacocks and rabbits in the beautiful grounds. Will definitely be back!

A couple of corridors are looking a little tired, but this is to be expected given the age of the building and the room itself was perfect.

Great location in the Lanes, so really close to everything. Very clean, friendly staff, lovely room.

Nothing that was really important for a two night stay, shower temperature was a little temperamental and the bed was a bit squeaky, but otherwise fine. You are in the Lanes and so you should expect some late night noise from other tourists coming and going, but we knew this before we booked.
