The history of the building and the way the team is trying to restore it back to the period. The team is also surprising, as it’s made up of people with life challenges and how they trust one another and work together, some of them make you laugh but they all welcome you with open arms 🤗

Lovely setting in a quiet location. Room was comfortable but detached from the main property which meant going outside to my room…luckily it didn’t rain. Bed was very comfortable and the rainfall shower was great. Food in the restaurant was good, although the didn’t have any steak.

USB chargers didn’t work in my room. I was also disappointed to have service charge for food and drinks added to the restaurant bill. You stay in a 4 star hotel to get good service, so you shouldn’t be charged twice, and I know it’s discretionary but it still leaves you uncomfortable.

Excellent location, straight opposite Peasholm Park entrance. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was great, with a self service cereals etc. section, followed by your choice of cooked or continental breakfast. Room was lovely and comfortable.

The only down side for me was that the bath was very small. I only have a shower at home, so if ever there's a bath, I like to have a soak. Not a real problem though, I still enjoyed it.

Great location, easy walk to beachfront area. The warmest welcome from Liz and Paul who were lovely and super helpful. Room clean and comfortable. Breakfast very nice.

it was a nice room. clean. in a good area. In the middle of 2 tube stations. breakfast buffet was nice.

The room was quite small and had no fridge in it which is fine for a night or 2 but we stayed for 6 nights. I should have obviously checked room inclusions before confirming booking so that's on me but just assumed all hotels had fridges in rooms.
