We chose Dellwood (17th-19th April 2024) on a whim, and so glad we did. Bruce and Tracey were the ideal hosts. They went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. We'd booked a double but they were more than happy to set-up a blow-up mattress for our son. They also opened the downstairs bar up for a late afternoon whiskey (or 2) where we found out they knew the farm at Gobagrennan where long distant relatives (ie 1700-1800s) lived and worked . Our stay was fantastic and we would not hesitate to go back. Breakfast was more than ample. It was a great stop and disappointed we could not stay longer. Dog friendly and some great stories told by the hosts...very grateful to Bruce for sharing a (now very treasured) trinket with our son. On our list to return!

The location was beautiful but first impressions give me serious concerns as the car park and communal are at the enterance give totally a bad first impression. The entrance door needs a serious lock of paint. However, the internal facilities and bedrooms were basic but very clean. The staff member could not have been more helpful and friendly and the kitchen facilities was a nice surprise.

Easy to follow instructions for the keypad, the room was lush, and the bed was comfy. The room has a bolt lock it felt safe and secure. The location is fantastic as I was going to the 02 that was 2 minutes away and close to underground for exploring. There are multiple bathrooms, which is great, and the price is really good value.

Some of the bathrooms didn't have toliet paper, but it was okay as others were stocked and could be moved around. To lock my door from the outside, it took a a few tries to figure it out, but you have to push the door towards you while turning the key, not a major issue but could be put in the instructions.

Directly opposite Runcorn station Was given a chalet USA style something you might see at a motel but to be fair the room was quite spacious and clean with private shower and toilet.This is a bar and restaurant at the hotel but didn't try that

Nothing really except the TV reception was poor on some channels and there were only two pillows for two single beds.This won't suit families

Hot and sticky 30% polyester bedsheets are an unfortunate choice. Very compromised sleep because of this. Bed softer than average. Lights can't be dimmed. The reading lamps are full-on, unshaded lightbulbs.
