Good location to explore Chester and the area but avoid expensive accommodation in the city. Chester city centre 20 min drive, Liverpool 50 min. The pub/restaurant downstairs looks very cosy, although we didn't try, cannot say about food and drinks. Our room had window to the beer garden therefore it wasn't noisy, we kept the window open overnight and it was fine. Plenty of parking spaces available.

The bed wasn't the most comfortable I've ever used. The mattress didn't seem to be a good value item, also seemed quite worn with its springs overused therefore very soft, no support to the back, we didn't sleep very well because of this.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Room immaculately clean. Room cleaned daily - a lot of big hotels dont do this anymore so I was really grateful for this! Excellent location - literally 2 minutes from Euston. Family friendly. Room well stocked with all essentials plus large bottle of water, biscuits, some little bathroom extras. These touches made such a difference.

The bed was big and comfortable. The room had nice ambient lighting and the tv was a good size with good picture and sound. Everything was good about the room even the view was good! Shower good and we would definitely stay there again.

The menu at the restaurant we thought was poor. We heard they ran out of Cabernet Sauvignon and you could not have a club sandwich in the evening(!) The menu was really poor so we went elsewhere which we didn’t really want to do. Heard a bit of road noise in our room and some unruly children running about but this is not the hotels fault. Breakfast was a little chaotic with not enough clean tables but the food was good, tasty and a good choice. Not happy that the parking was £12 PER NIGHT.

Location was rural, lovely and quiet! I would love to return and try some of the other accommodation options. There was a games room on offer which was a lovely surprise even if I had no time to enjoy them myself.
