As always I have enjoyed my stay at Crestfield hotel a lot. Great location, very friendly and helpful staff, room was always clean and 24h open reception is very convenient. There is a lovely outdoor sitting place in between hotel buildings too.

We have been here times, firstly when mum was alive and since I take my dad, now age 91, the location , view and space are wonderful

Since the first time with mum I have asked fora small handrail for stepson kitchen and a handle in the shower. I know it is more for the elderly, the one in the shower is crucial and to be honest I would pay, it was a real struggle in the shower with dad and a rail would have made it easy, otherwise perfect

Carpets and paintwork looked recent and fresh. Super position with views across the bay from the sun terrace.

Too many narrow flights of stairs to upper rooms and odd floor levels. My room was up another 3 steps and my ensuite bathroom was down another 3 steps, no bannister, and along a short corridor, and no shelf to put things. There was no chair or desk/table to rest a cup on. The room seemed like a work in progress.

Location was great. Building was secure and communal areas were ok.

Communal areas had lots of flaking paint. Floor in entrance to apartment had something sticky on it. Food stains all around kitchen and on skirting boards. Microwave was disgusting. Blinds had stains on them as did the bedroom carpet. Under the sofa had not been cleaned in a while. Empty bottle at back of sofa. Half eaten packet of crisps in drawer in bedroom. Tiles in bathroom broken and lots of damp. Tiles in kitchen were lifting. When you sat on the sofa you sank into it and almost disappeared.

There was a loud noise and vibration that came from the kitchen fan possibly directly underneath the room and it sounded like a washing machine on a spin. It started at about 7pm and 7am

Gluten menu is needed as we had to get takeaway meal , as there wasn't anything the kitchen could do help us .
