  I really loved how easy it was to get checked in! The staff were super friendly and helpful, answering any questions I had. The room had a lovely cosy bed and the bathroom whilst small was still more than enough for what's needed. The free refreshments like tea, coffee and a biscoff biscuit in the room were lovely touches. Being close to the Cutty Sark DLR station was helpful as well.

  I only stayed the one night so I can't say there was anything that really hampered my enjoyment. I suppose the closest thing that I can fault is having to pay extra for breakfast but I appreciate that it's taking the cook's attention away from the bar so it makes sense. I cannot verify if the food is worth the price however.

  It’s a beautiful property for a coastal escape. The rooms are spacious with comfy beds. I loved the peaceful green garden to soak up nature. Lovely host that makes you feel warm, safe and welcomed. Donna and Jim made us tasty breakfasts and catered to vegan and gf guests. Very considerate and thorough from arrival to end. Thank you Donna!

  Must book treatment facilities in 1-2 days advance to avoid disappointment. I misunderstood that there was a in house treatment available for walk-in so I couldn’t enjoy the treatments. However, the big pool at the back made up for that.

  Friendliness - wonderful warm welcome. Help and advice with local travel issues. Reasonability when dealing with credit card failure. Comfortable and clean room. Good shower. Nice pub, sadly didn't get to try your meals. Location - Largs a lovely spot and easy walk from hotel to the seafront and restaurants.

  The location was good, the apartment was well presented from a distance. We were thankful for the milk sachets. The bathrooms were nice and pleasantly clean.

  The outside table and chairs as well as the main area and bedroom and windows, need some extra cleaning measures putting in place. The paint is looking quite tired throughout the property, marks on almost all the walls, it really needs a splash back by the kitchen sink. Unhappy with hidden charges demanded to be paid before arrival. At £25 non refundable 'damage wavier' or a semi refundable £250 in 14 days. Apparently 'standard practice' but I've never had this before. This is my main reason I won't book with Host & Stay again.
