Wayne messaged us in advance with entry details and met us on arrival and showed us the rooms, couldn’t have been more helpful. We stayed here as a family of 5, in 3 seperate rooms. My husband and I were in The Paddocks, the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. The bedroom was a good size, shower was powerful and plenty of towels. The Manger and The Saddlery were spacious and comfortable, again well equipped with towels. A nice touch of cakes and biscuits left in all rooms.

Could’ve done with a clothes horse for drying clothes, but not a deal breaker as we put the radiators on.

We had a fabulous stay at this house in West Kirby. Steve and Nina were the perfect hosts and thought of everything we could possibly need to make our stay perfect. There was a really touching welcome pack of goodies to save us shopping for essentials. The house is beautiful, perfectly situated for West Kirby centre and the station and they even ordered sunshine for us. We couldn’t have asked for more!

It was lovely quite great to go if uve no kids and if uve not got a car would advice to bring your food for all week or a taxi will take u to twn for £10

When we came home cot an infection from the jaquzzi I thought I could smell rotten eggs didn’t know we’re it was coming from took lid Of and kept it of the smell didn’t return but when we got home had to go for antibiotics it was like a urin kinda like infection and when read up on it went to docs cot it of the jaquzzi they need to be cleaned more than they were instead of a dirty cloth round sides

Hotel is beautiful staff are friendly right on the river Thames stunning restaurants within the hotel right next to Hampton court which we visited.

Very loud wedding reception taking place in the hotel other guests weren't informed the music overpowered the restaurant and when trying to sleep was near impossible.

The property is very dated and often times the rooms are visibly dirty which was the case on this occasion. In addition to this when we were leaving the maids were coming round and all of the clean linens were left on the floor outside each room which is very unhygienic. In addition when checking in we were charged an early check in fee which given the fact the room was available and nobody was being put out I felt was particularly unacceptable. To add to this we had family staying at the hotel over the same period and in the past who’ve checked in early and at no point ever had to pay an early check in fee. I asked how much this was and was told £20, only to fill in the forms and be told by the receptionist she’d do it for £10?? So clearly she’s very capable of waving it and this is instead a fee that you pick and choose when to apply and how much it’s going to be. Convenient location but won’t be back.
