The cabin looked better than in the photos. We stayed for three nights. The beds were comfy and the WiFi was great. The kitchen was well stocked for a short stay.its also a short distance from surrounding locations like the slate mines and Portmeirion.

Entry up & downastairs. If I can make a suggestion regarding the stairway? As you get to the bottom where the door to the pub entrance is perhaps put a caution or warning up explaining that after the door there is another step down. This definitely threw me and also has thrown my right hip/back out...ouch! Not very safe especially if carrying a child or pet dog.

Although there was no window in our room, the room was bright, with a spotlessly clean bathroom.

Possibly due to the perspex screen i found it very difficult to hear the Staff who was booking me in, consequently i became anxious and put the wrong PIN number for my Barclaycard. Perhaps a microphone would be helpful? Other guests were lying on the floor in the corridor, talking loudly, also loud ? television in another room from approximately 4am - surely a member of staff could make spot checks.

The decor was pleasant in the living room. The sundae theme quite quirky.

The strong smell of stale smoke permeating the whole apartment was so offputting, it hit us both as soon as we opened the door and quite honestly marred the whole opinion of the properrty. The reviews said it was clean but there was thick dust and dirt on the skirting boards in the bedroom and the discoloured grouting between the bath tiles a bit gross.
