Took nearly an hour to get in our room as the card did not work. Each time we came to reception we had to que again and then return to our room which was a long walk away. We were then told we would have to wait for a repair man to come and fix the key pad. I was upset as we had to be at a show and only had time for a quick change. A woman who appeared to be in charge of reception was very rude when I asked if we could change rooms for the quickest. No customer service - I felt I was treated unfairly.

Staff, spiders in the bathroom, room was a fire hazard down little tiny corridors, the hotel smelled, hotel is miles away from anything.

Accommodation like in a fairy tale with incredibly nice and helpful owners who were a pleasure to chat with. The breakfast prepared by the owners had all the attributes of a five star accommodation, if it was six stars they would definitely get it. The location, views, comfort and peace you will find here are like from a fairy tale. We will definitely come back here :-)

Good written directions. Very suitable for dogs with enclosed gated garden. Clean and comfortable. Lovely welcome pack with lots to try and led to us buying more local products. Lots of information on the local area. We were attending a family reunion in Bransford which wasn’t too far away as we needed to take the dogs. Quiet location.

The facilities list has the oven a long way from the hob so we didn’t spot it and avoided oven-ready meals. Perhaps they could be listed next to each other. In retrospect we could have seen this on the photos but not so easy in a supermarket. It wasn’t a problem for us, but do you know there is a bees nest in the chimney?

The place felt clean, the host was quick to reply and very professional. It was easy to get into the centre of Bristol quickly and even to Bath. There is a bus stop and Co-Op at the end of the street, which is very convenient. There is access to a kitchen which has everything required. If I’m in Bristol, I would stay here again.

Really nice apartment in the centre of St Ives. A lot of thought gone into making it “home away from home”. It was really well equipped with everything you could possibly need during your stay! Really nicely decorated with loads of space - photos don’t do it justice!

Driving into the centre of St Ives on a busy afternoon to find the apartment and drop off the bags can be stressful! But once you know your way around it’s fine so just relax, take your time and follow the instructions provided!
