Location is great - East access to both city and the west end.. walking distance if preferred or tube access is very easy. Plenty of choice within the hotel of food and drinks. Friendly staff, great rooms with everything you could think of. We had room service and the food arrived at the right temperature which is a must for us - noone likes cold food, unless it's a salad lol.

Service in the reception bar was a little slow, after waiting 15mins - the lynoess opened and we moved in there which was great.

2 Rivers just gets everything right! Hopefully the new managers will maintain the high standards and well trained staff. Having the accommodation away from the pub is great and the rooms are so well planned. There is plenty of parking and a great value breakfast, which is optional.

The only issue we had was the noise in the exec suite. 323 that came from the pipes when water was used & it went on for 45 minutes max washing hands after loo or running bath or shower the noise is long n continuous and needs to be sorted & did ann9y my partner.

The room is on the first floor, which we didn’t realise on booking. Access by an angled open metal staircase which was quite steep. Our dog would not use it so had to be carried up and down. The garden lawn was quite long which upset the dog and he wouldn’t go.poor mobile phone signal at the property which is not the fault of the owners but the wifi was very weak which meant it dropped out a bit. There wasn’t anyone at the property to discuss things with, had to be done by either text or phone. Only one bedside cabinet so had to use the floor. The quilt was very noisy( crinkling)There was no cupboard or wardrobe for clothes so had to be in the suitcases. The door to the bathroom was glass and there was nowhere to stow soap etc in the shower. The front door had glass panels in it but no way of stopping the light coming through in the early morning. There was a thirty pound charge for having the dog with us which we didn’t know about until after booking and so had to be paid separately. On complaint when we left the owners offered a refund which has now been received . We chose to leave after the first night of two mainly because we were finished early at our engagement and couldn’t face the second night. This review is as it was and is meant as suggestions for improvement.
