The pool was pristine, and there was a lovely area with sun beds, perfect for relaxing afternoons.   Unbelievable value for money. The location is perfect - just on the outskirts of Cambridge, yet it feels like you're in the countryside. Gated access to long drive leading to plenty of parking - enough for car and trailer if needed. Not far to the accommodation which was a beautiful old building set in lovely well kept grounds and a few animals surrounding the property. The decor was very tasteful and in keeping with the age of the property (we stayed in the main building) and it had everything we needed (even an iron and ironing board). The building was lovely and warm, even though the heating wasn't on. Everything was spotless, and the shower was amazing. We would definitely recommend this to anyone, and if in the area, we would definitely stay there again.

  No-one on reception when we arrived around 4.30pm. We wouldn't recommend staying in the main building to anyone who doesn't have a smart phone (or if battery flat!) or doesn't know how to download apps (like us) as the main building has digital access to the main door and room (luckily there was someone around to help us otherwise we would have been ringing up the owner/manager). Next time we'd stay in the chalet rooms as they have normal keys in envelopes waiting for the client at reception! The bed was a little soft for us, but that is just a personal thing - bedding/pillows were great.

  Clean room, Very good breakfast in nice conservatory area. Good food and drinks menu. Outside eating area . Courteous helpful staff , Excellent location for all of Chipping Camden and the area - has free car park and nice coffee shop ( which we didn't get time to use ) Friendly town with some nice independent shops - great deli . Lovely weekend to visit nearby Hidcote and Snowshill Ok

  Room overlooked car park below and rooms across the way - so you need to close the blinds when using Bathroom . Room a little tired and would prefer a separate shower instead of over the bath .
