  First and foremost, it should be stated that Dundonald Links is primarily geared toward golf-oriented stays (which it does quite well). Our room was a good size and the bed was very comfortable. The location is off the beaten tracks and the course and surroundings are lovely. The clubhouse/restaurant offers good food/drink, and the location is well-positioned for touring/visiting the Ayrshire coast.

  Unfortunately, we arrived during a "heatwave" (daytime temps in the low- to mid-70s/21-24), and there is no aircon (a good fan they provided helped, but only so much). Water bottles weren't replaced daily, which felt penny-pinching. A nightlight in the bathroom would have been nice, as turning the light on woke my partner. If our trip were more golf-focused, I believe we would have enjoyed it even more.

  Very cleverly designed room - a micro-apartment including kitchenette. Staff were extremely friendly. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Location is perfect. Easy to get to St Peter's Square for tram to Co-op Live.

  Really nice, modern apartment, well equipped with modern furnishings and excellent communication with Host.

  Temperature in the room was 26 degrees on a day when outside temperature was only 21 degrees so was very hot and has to ask for a solution and luckily an air-con unit was provided. Parking was also an issue and had to make alternative arrangements with next door hotel.

  The spa facilities, pool, sauna, steam room, and whirlpool. Also a gym and can pay for massages etc.

  The dark-haired lady on reception is quite blunt and unfriendly. The lady at breakfast was on my own, putting me in the farthest corner, then saying to me oh in the corner, she put me there." Staff overall not friendly at all. Room small, and bathroom. View over main road and quite noisy. It's not a comfortable night sleep.
