I've been to Cardiff several times, I've stayed in a hostel and in a more expensive hotel, but nothing can compare to this accommodation. A beautiful (pink!) house on the outside, comfortable on the inside. Nice and helpful staff, fully equipped rooms named after castles, everything functional and clean. At the same time, it is an absolutely brilliant location - 15 minutes walk to the castle, 15 minutes walk to the bay.

If I had to come up with one negative, then I would say the creaky door (we went back late and might disturbed other guests). But that's all, we really have nothing else to complain about, all three of us were thrilled.

Property is extremely comfortable and well equipped. It’s setting is delightful, immediately above the rushing waters of Stock Ghyll and surrounded by trees. The beds were extremely comfortable and everything was clean and well maintained.

Why was there no washing up liquid.? This is not something that people take with them on holiday. A spare toilet roll would have been nice. The hand soap had run out. The directions need to be updated .

After a long drive this was such a treat to arrive to. It had everything you could need and absolutely spotless. The breakfast provided was very well thought out and couldn’t ask for more. Will definitely be back.

The pans in bad condition, roasting pan still had oil in it. Toilet plunger broken. Bath very slippery but very clean bathroom. The towels had to be washed as though they looked like they had been, they smelled stale. Hadn’t realised it was very hilly. No one came to fix the toilet. Sofa very low and only three could sit. If more staying they would have to sit on kitchen chairs. Ok for us as only three of us.

Lack of staff: -no bar staff for 15mins on 1st evening -one poor guy with one arm in a sling trying and failing to manage breakfast room.
