      The hotel was lovely and it’s one of the cleanest I’ve stayed in. We stayed for a gig at the AO arena so the location was brilliant. There was everything you needed, hairdryer, ironing board and iron, fridge etc. The shower was great and I liked the speaker in the bathroom. The toiletries were really good too. Breakfast was amazing and all the staff in the dining room were lovely and so attentive.

      You were supposed to be able to control the TV with your phone and it didn’t work. We told reception but it did take them a while to come and sort it out. Breakfast took a while and my partner then didn’t have time for a shower before checkout but it was busy and they were very apologetic even though I didn’t complain. It is pricy but it was a treat.

      Had a great stay. Very welcoming hosts. Lovely views of the lake from the bedroom balcony and we had the pool to ourselves. Gardens also have a lovely view. Really enjoyed ourselves thanks.

      We didn’t mind as we love walking but if you have mobility issues the hill to the property might be an issue for you.

      It looks fabulous from the outside with parking and on some lovely roads

      Staffing problems slow service cold food dreadful room people queuing to complain about rooms Our room was awful and without doubt the worst I’ve stayed in. Food refunded in the morning but to be honest the whole stay should have been refunded. I thought I was in faulty towers…

      After 20 years of visiting the belfry we wont be returng unfortunately In the hotel we found staff undertrained in the method of basic customer service in all areas not what we expect from the belfry And then the insult of adding automatically an extra 10% on all food and drink putting the envisis on the customer to ask for removel of extras We don't mind paying anything if the standard is on a par but alas its no longer the case for us

      Very poor quality beds, thin synthetic duvet, pillows thin and dead. Breakfast is definitely institutional standard.
