Myself and my son stay here quite regularly as my son who is 10 has sensory needs,he loves all the different rooms we have stayed in and he calls this hotel his 2nd home.we both absolutely love using the swimming pool,and my happy place is the jacuzzi,it’s the hottest 1 I’ve been in.i always find the lounge area clean welcoming and relaxing and the garden is really lovely and a credit to the staff that maintain it.

Hotel situated in excellent location for seeing the town, the museum, walks, boat trip to Lundy and going to nearby places; we visited Westward Hoe! and Lee. Violet and George very friendly hosts and supplied all we needed for a 4 night stay. A basic hotel, slightly dated in decor but supplied all the essentials, including parking, comfortable bed, en suite toilet and shower and excellent breakfast.

Very close to City centre, just a few minutes walk away, shops, bars and restaurants close by. Apartment was spotless clean and free parking on site. Constant contact from Chris to see how our stay was going.

Too much light from outside at night - needs curtains - especially over the glass in the door. The toilet is exceptionally high - needs a stool to rest your feet on. I’m 5ft 3, but I could not put my feet on the floor. A cafetière would have been nice, rather than a machine that used coffee pods.
