Lovely quirky cottage, well facilitated, immaculately clean and extremely comfortable. The bed was excellent - had a brilliant night's sleep. Wuld thoroughly recommend everything about this accommodation. A great experience. I was travelling for work but would also use for leisure (wish that was the case on this occasion)

I wouldn't / couldn't fault this as exceeded my expectations.

Great location in the centre of Scarborough, minutes walk from the open air theatre which was our destination. Room was smaller than expected, but was more than comfortable, bathroom was very clean which is a positive.

Found a cobweb head height between the TV and Cupboard as soon as we arrived. Breakfast has browns were nearly cremated.

Very nice bathroom nice large comfortable beds and very comfortable room. I was surprised to hear that the receptionist didn’t know that the swan turned occasionally.

I was desperate for accommodation as the other Hotel I was supposed to be staying was booked out and it was the only one available at that point of time

same room as we had last time we stayed - a lovely clean room, very spacious.

It was a bit noisy when we had the window open late at night and they were bringing the bins round.

Dead insets on the dining room windowsill (inside), we were lucky enough to be there at the same time as an American tour group - they took preference at dining, breakfast and bar. They had table cloths, flowers and the usual on their breakfast table, we got bare tables with a paper napkin, knife and fork. Had to wait ten minutes for a jug of milk for breakfast tea. In the evening we were told abruptly that we could not order bar food until the tour group had been served dinner. The Americans were served first in the bar. The swimming pool had two large patches of tiles missing on the floor of the pool, changing rooms unkempt and dank. I was told that staff were down to a minimum due to previous owner and that the previous owner hadn’t kept up with maintenance - no surprise when you see it. Overall an expensive stay in a very tired, run down hotel. Staff could use a course in customer service. Would not recommend for a couple of years until new owners have had a chance to renovate.
