Gorgeous grand old house that has been beautifully renovated. Stayed in ground floor Apartment 1 which opens into the garden. Quality inclusions throughout. Very tastefully decorated. Beautiful gardens. Well appointed kitchen. Generous welcome croissants and cake. Fresh flowers. Neil the host lives on the premises and was very welcoming and plenty of info given prior. Quiet area but only 5 minute drive into Lincoln centre. Such a relaxing stay. Highly recommend.

I arrived earlier than check in, and the lovely receptionist allowed me to use the room. She also encouraged help with my heavy bags after my journey from London, and walking from the station. I couldn't figure out the heater, so a young member of the team came to help.

In short, the whole place needs an upgrade. Word around town is that it was previously family owned, and since sold, has gone down hill. There is clear promise with the property, but the low upkeep and clear need for updating takes away from it all. Despite decent pictures online, the room was clearly a single that they put a double bed in. None of their photos showcased this would be. Really disappointing. I could hardly move around the bed comfortably. The view from the room wasn't great, and tons of pigeons were cooing at my window from early morning. There was no phone in the room so I had to do down stairs to find an alternative solution to contact the helpdesk. The receptionist who met me was cordial and lovely, but a pain to have to come all the way to reception for a number to call. The furniture and remote was dirty and once wiped, was shocked to see the dirt. Made me feel uneasy immediately given my sensitive skin, and this left me feeling unable to truly get any true rest during my stay, even though the bed looking clean. The shower was small and the water pressure was a drizzle, which almost made me not want to shower. Luckily I had another option with family halfway through my stay, so stayed with them instead. I wouldn't be staying again sadly.

I loved pulling in to the car park to see what seemed to be an oasis. So tranquil and beautiful and met by such a happy and friendly staff member. The hot tub was absolutely brilliant. So easy to get the cover on and off and the instructions were really easy to follow.

I didn’t like the little dirt track on the way in. Some of those pot holes are really big and my car was bouncing around even though I was driving at a snails pace. That put me diff going out during the day and having to use the trail again but it didn’t matter too much as I came to relax.

The house near the train station. You also can walk to national museum and royal albert hall. There's supermarket near the house where you can buy all groceries. The owner very helpful. He let us check out late so we can rest before our flight at the night

The rooms are being refurbished - ours wasn’t one or two things were not upto scratch ie kitchen sink hot tap was completely broken but they repaired it immediately and offered us free drinks. Bathroom sink was blocking up. Toilet flush took ages to fill

It’s was a very clean well kept property no problems with the suites either.

The only thing which wasn’t a positive was the wifi was sub par however that was most likely due to location.

Cool venue and big clean room. Good breakfast and nice bed.

Expensive and I think we were put in a disabled room which meant the mirrors were very low and lighting therefore dark. We are both quite tall so actually was annoying when getting ready for hair/makeup etc. Adjoining room (which we didn’t have) had super drunk / loud guests and there was no one at night checking / to ask to help. Not the hotel’s fault but they were so loud, If there were ample Staff around they would have heard. The guests phone alarms kept going off at around 6.30aam on the Sunday morning - they were so out of it they couldn’t hear it but ruined our stay).
