Beautiful location. Rustic farm setting. Once inside the accommodation, everything is exceptionally appointed. Complete contrast to a typical farmhouse exterior - so both criteria met, with sheepdog to welcome you, alongside welcoming, friendly, relaxed and accommodating hosts . Top of the range furnishings. Beautiful bed linens. Everything needed is provided , I just wish we could have stayed longer to take in the outstanding mendip hill scenery. Perfect for a rambling/walking holiday. Mendips one side, Exmoor the other. In fact you are in Exmoor National Trust country. Additional touches;- Bathroom accessories, milk, coffee, cooking oils and washing up liquid provided, so no issues if you have not remembered these.

We had a wonderful stay at this location. The apartment was close to everything, from breakfast spots to dinner venues, and very near the Underground, making all our transportation needs easy to handle. The apartment felt very safe and was easy to find. Hamza was an amazing host, responsive around the clock and accommodating all our requests promptly. The furniture was comfortable, and while the apartment was small, it was cozy and had a charming atmosphere. Overall, it was a great experience!

A closet or table to store luggage would be great. Without this, we had to leave our luggage on the floor.

Excellent hostel, well. Positioned in the centre of the town and with a lovely lounge are with tea and coffee and kitchen facilities. Staff were helpful and friendly, really excellent budget accommodation.

If I was being absolutely picky I guess the one shower /bathroom off each dorm room could lead to queuing. We had no issues though and for the cost it was excellent.

Dinner was apalling with slow service and a limited choice. OK if you wanted snacks and sharing plates but we expected better for the prices. When I complained about my meal there was no apology or offer of something different. I paid £20 for 4 pieces of cold salmon and a couple of new potatoes.. We were on a road trip round Wales and Scotland and stayed in 8 different hotels. This was the most expensive and by far the worst.

The room was very noisy . The whole place needs refurbishment. The hallway had large damp stains on the walls . The rooms were very hot , bathroom had inadequate water pressure so using the shower was tricky.

Checking in, reception staff could do with some training in basic communication. The lifts are tiny and very slow. The corridors are very narrow and the rooms very small, the shower cubicle is very very small and theres no shelf to put anything meaning you're in a cramped space and have to leave shower gel etc on the floor. There's a lack of plug sockets in the room, non next tot the bed for example. Just not very well thought out. Cleanliness isn't great either, there's old dirt around the bed and skirting boards. Single glazed windows in the room that aren't sealed properly means it's both cold and noisy. The door to the room was also not flush with the frame meaning there's a slight gap you can see through, doesn't help with noise in the corridor from other guests.
