The humble hut is far from humble. A lovely location with great facilities for a short stay. We were on route from the Highlands of Scotland & extended our stay by visiting Lindisfarne. The humble hut is perfectly placed to explore the Northumbrian coast line. Thank you Rob ( host) for having us & being super helpful.

Classic British seaside B&B. I had to arrive late due to work and travel circumstances and set up for late entry was clearly communicated and easy to do. Felt safe and comfortable. In the morning staff very friendly, helpful and served up good breakfast.

Very friendly and helpful staff at the reception. Delightful room in this historic building with a comfortable 4 poster bed. Great food with generous portions in the restaurant.

The place could do with a bit of freshening up the room we stayed in and also noticed down in the hallway the skirting boards and walls the paint was pealing off and made it feel like a bit of a let down for a nice hotel

Only issue was the wifi which tended to drop off or be stuck buffering ordinary web pages(not videos or films) possibly because we were on the top floor and/or, as we were told, because the hotel is situated in a bay. The wifi seemed to work fine downstairs in the bar/ restaurant
