for us for our needs the location was perfect as we were driving and parking was nice and easy at the caravan too we had a car and trailer which fit easily at the side of the van, I loved the idea of leaving food behind for the next people who stayed great to have things you dont think about like salt, but we took our essentials tea coffee milk sugar and got microwave meals locally one we arrived on site, the van was very well equipped with a nice kettle toaster & air fryer microwave all the pots and pans you could want & crockery a bit short on Cutlery but enough for us as we were only two people we had a lovely stay & the owners were very communitive making our stay a nice experience.

finding the van was a bit tricky as the way the park had numbered the vans was a little strange but the WAZE App seemed to have it sussed so it wasn't too difficult once we used that

We were upgraded to have free complementary breakfast which was very kind. The staff was helpful and welcoming. The location was good, close to the centre, although this also meant it could get loud during the night. The room was fairly big and the bar remained open until late.

The entrance gave me hope that the hotel facilities wouldn’t be as old and worn out as the exterior appears but the rooms were indeed disappointing. They were clearly worn out and we were also not satisfied with the cleanliness level. There was a single pillow per person which was not hard so the sleep was uncomfortable. The corridors smelt like garbage and toilets… It was bearable as it was only for a night but not sure if I could do this for longer.

It so easily could be very good, and the receptionists and breakfast waitress were excellent. But it simply did not live up to expectations. It looks great from outside, but inside is a different matter.

We got to our room and instantly found the following problems. There was a strong animal smell and plenty of hairs. One curtain had come adrift. The loo roll holder was broken and empty. The loo was not clean. The walk in shower was equipped with a slippery base and no grab handles (and this was a room for the disabled!!) . We waited exactly 1 hour for our main course to arrive at dinner, so we did not bother eating there again. Overall, the bedroom was not clean. We asked to speak to the Manager on our first 2 days, but were told that there were none on site. Instead, I was given a business card for the Events Manager! We were told that mostly, nobody stayed more than a night and that it is now primarily a wedding venue. Someone should make that clear, particularly the AA who call it a 4 star Country House Hotel. The only thing done to our room over our (sadly pre-paid) stay was a replacement loo roll holder. Nothing else was done and the whole place was grubby, particularly the festoons of cobwebs in the restaurant. But with no Manager - who cares? The entrance sign classes themselves as a Luxury Hotel! If anyone senior at this hotel eventually reads this review, I invite them to do the decent thing and give us a refund. Our touring holiday was spoilt.

Lovely clean home. Spacious, warm, kitchen amenities excellent. Welcome pack excellent and thoughtful. Great location for sight seeing and good taxis to Portree for dinner Beds really comfy too.

Great location, apartment very clean and receptionist was very helpful.

The apartment was a very long walk from the basement parking area to have to carry all our luggage. Very disappointed that there were no cups or mugs in the apartment and had to get the receptionist to get some. Could not see any instructions for any appliances and until just before checkout when we saw they were very high up on top of one of the kitchen cupboards. The receptionist was kind enough to get me logged in to the wifi as could not see the code anywhere.
