We had a Lovely couple of nights away It is different to what we usually do but very relaxing the cabin was perfect and clean it had everything you need . It is a short drive to St Andrews or can do the coastal walk which took approx 50 minutes ( be aware this isn’t a flat walk you definitely need a good pair of trainers ) Looking forward to return

Room we had was great (Family Room). very spacious. bed and pull out bed both comfortable. The bathroom huge and great walk in shower. Food choices in restaurant were good.

The lift did not level with the outside floor before the doors opened. Dangerous if you are not watching you could easily trip and fall.

Saturday night was very noisy as it was karaoke night. We were warned about this though in an email before we arrived. We booked late, so no other rooms available. Also Window was above kitchen extractor fan, so had the smell of the kitchen in our room. Must be the last room they book to people. It was cheap because of this I think.

We rented the Apartment for 8 nights but it was NOT as advertised. Nothing supplied as advertised, only a partial toilet roll; no soaps, shampoo, cloths or DW liquid for the kitchen, no starter tea/coffee/sugar. The window behind the couch would not close which allowed for a considerable draft. There was no aerial for the TV. The TV was complicated as it required the internet to operate it. Every time time to TV was switched the internet had to be reconnected through setup. Programs were through You tube. We could not work to heater in the lounge as no operating instructions were supplied. Although we asked for these. There was no mirror or power points in the Bathroom. No power point in the bedroom for the Bedside lamp. The couch was soiled and had a cigarette burn to it. The entry to the Apartment and the surrounding street is littered with rubbish and weeds. The Apartment was upstairs and the carpet on the stairs had not been vacuumed for some considerable time. There were some dirty dishes in the cupboard and the small fridge needed defrosting. Very poor Management and communication continued from the Rental Agency, responsible for the Apartment. We sent them multiple emails, over 48 hours. They delayed in replying and addressed us by just surname. The Rental Agency made times to visit, we had to cancel plans and waited for them to arrive and they did not turn up. We had the fortune to meet the Landlord as the Apartment was up for sale and he had a viewing with the Real Estate agent and a prospective buyer, on our 2nd day there. He contacted the Rental Director, Mirza who was very apologetic and supplied us with the basics that were NOT in the Apartment. Mirza, the Rental Agency Director, has agreed to refund us 35% of our rental due to our considerable inconvenience and the resultant stress this caused. Attached is his text of 19/06/24, confirming this.
