The facilities and service in the golf pavilion were significantly better than in the main building. The staff in general were excellent (aside from one particularly grumpy lady in the main bar). We were accommodated well with a table outside and later when using the main bar inside.

The attitude of one particular lady who told us that we were not allowed to order a drink in the main bar as it was reserved for the use of guests eating in the restaurant, not guests staying there but eating elsewhere. This was despite being directed there by the receptionist as we were early for checking-in. To be fair, the lady who was the manager resolved everything superbly and the staff in general were great. The door to the room itself was jammed and couldn't be opened without a particular knack that not all staff had or could tell us and we experienced a similar issue with an internal door when we closed it. The room itself was very dated.

The hotel was extremely clean which is very rare for London. The breakfast was brilliant and much better than in a lot of 4 star hotels, the hot food was actually kept hot and excellent choice. The staff was very friendly and my whole stay was absolutely amazing.

The air coming out of the air conditioning unit smelled badly like damp and mold and the windows are in a desperate need of repair as you couldn’t open it enough to get a decent amount of air in.

The location was very good, just a short walk to Hatton Cross Underground Station, a station away from Heathrow airport. The room was nice and spacious.

The cleanliness should be better, especially in the bathroom. The pillows were too soft. There was a big issue with the picture of TV channels - BBC-News and many other channels were not watchable, the digital signal was insufficient. In the era of technology, it should not be the case.

Very poor value for money - £500 for 2 nights in a TINY room in the basement - no natural light, toilet 2 feet from the bed with just a glass screen in between, basin in room, no privacy No hooks to hang up clothes/towels in shower area Room would be ok for one person but not enough space/privacy for a couple
