Superb location for Queens tennis. Restaurant served fabulous food at reasonable price for London. Breakfast was excellent, well organised and stocked buffet. Room was one of the newly refurbished room. We had asked for a twin and I have found in London on arrival a twin room is often a double bed. Not in the ibis. Twin beds with a very spacious room and bathroom. As a London base for a few days this is a fantastic location. I will definitely be back.

Beautiful, peaceful location, perfect for a relaxing base to explore Edinburgh from. The kids loved the wildlife and play area. The adults loved the hot tub! The host was very welcoming, and we all enjoyed the selection in the breakfast basket.

There were a few provisions for us on arrival. There was plenty of space to spread out during our stay. The kitchen area was well equipped. The bed was long enough and comfortable so we had good nights sleep and the shower was nice and hot.

My ONLY gripe is bedrooms 2 and 3,I'm sorry but campbeds do not cut it for bedding in 2024 and the room with the futon was a little cramped for the party member that drew the straw for the room! Perhaps a sofa bed downstairs would be more appropriate.

The entrance is also the smoking area, I had to walk through cigarette smoke. Not a very nice welcome. But was okay once inside. Place is a little shabby, but clean.

The property needs refurbishing but this does not distract from the overall aesthetic also only a limited menu on a Sunday but the food was good.

It's 2024, to not have a socket to charge your phone (USB or 240v) is absolutely ridiculous. Especially for over £200 per night. Phone had to be on the other side of the room for a 4am wake up call which disturbed my wife who wasn't flying with me. This is not a luxury for any hotel, let alone one at an Airport. Its 100% a must-have. I don't need RCA sockets to connect my computer to the TV . I need to charge phone whilst sleeping with it next me!
