Rooms were large, clean spacious and comfortable - arguably nicer than some hotels I've stayed at on holiday! Restaurant had nice food and quick service. Very close to terminal 2 with a walkway to the terminal, and an easy drive to the long-stay multi story carpark. Staff were helpful.

Unclear parking prices. We phoned a few weeks prior to query parking prices and were told one figure, then close to check in we were emailed a different figure. Upon arrival, there are signs outside the hotel that suggested using a parking app, which again showed completely different prices to what we were previously told. We then went to the front desk where the staff told us to enter our details into a tablet/ipad which sorted the parking. Whilst we were grateful for this, there was nothing to imply that this was what we needed to do, which was worrying as we could have easily paid an incorrect amount (or via an incorrect method) if we did not go inside and ask at the desk. It was all very confusing.

Owner was very friendly. Communal Kitchen/ breakfast room tiny but pleasant, open at all times. Juice, tea, coffee, Fruit, bread, chocolates, yogurt etc available all day. Bus stop at door. Owner purchased full fat milk for me when I stated my preference.

Front verge unkept, garden looked unloved, giving a poor first impression. On a very busy, noisy road. Front door very difficult to open. Breakfast area tiny. Stairs to bedrooms steep and narrow.

Much space both in the room and in the showers, big lockers, luggage storage for a whole day after checkout, great localization, with bus station within 5 min walk and Waverley train station just outside. A shortbread for a welcome gift was cute.

Excellent location, 5min walk from King’s Cross station Kitchen: while relatively small, it has all the equipment needed to cook at home efficiently (fridge, oven, induction cooktop, kettle …)

The photos are somewhat deceiving: the flat is actually in way poorer condition than it looks. Furnitures are old, water equipment (bathtub, sinks…) is old and needs to be renovated, beds are squeaky, mattresses are so uncomfortable (you can feel the springs poking your back and ribs) that we ended up sleeping on the sofa instead, windows are old and not sound-proof at all (you can hear everything that happens on the street) Last point, the arrangement to collect and drop the keys is quite unpleasant: you need to walk for 10-15min from the flat before you can reach the convenience store from which you can pick up the keys. It would have been easier and more efficient to find another shop located next to the flat.

It’s was extremely dirty - blood stains on the bathroom door and mould on the window sills. My son also got a lot of bites after being in the bed. When reported to staff they were not interested at all

The room was adjoining with another, with only a door separating and the neighbour was very loud so I had to change rooms at midnight. The new room had a very old sink with many cracks in it.

Room smelly. Shower rubbish plug wouldn't work to empty bath at all staff were not bothered at all over all was not happy with service and cleanliness will not be going there again
