Location was good, parking in train station car park was very reasonable. Although room was located at the front of the hotel, noise was not an issue.

Server in the bar had an odd manner about her. We returned to the bar near to closing. She was angrily stuffing straws into the holder on the bar, no concern for hygiene/cleanliness/infection prevention as she touched the top of every straw with the palm of her hand and tried to make a joke about her anger issues. In the bathroom there was a very dirty towel left on the back of the door.

Didn't like the shared bathroom but that was my own fault as didn't read the listing properly. Was lovely and clean though and shared bathroom was definitely made up by the really great price of said room!

Don't have hotel own parking, because we have 2 small kids, they have enjoyed their day and feel tired, both sleep in the car, when we arrived, we are inconvenient to put them down and our belonging.

I think the reviews on booking.com gave us false hope it was a dingy hotel just above a hostel. Very expensive for what you get, it was over £100 for a double room and no breakfast. The room was small, very out of date decor, wallpaper, carpet. It didn't feel clean looked it, but years of stains were visible. The staff didn't seem to care and were texting while serving me. You have to give your card details in case you damage the room which didn't feel secure. Bed was old mattress needed replacing. The walls were thin you could hear neighbours easily. Very expensive and would not stay again.
