Though the checkin is self-completed there were some staff in the shop area (during working hours) to assist with anything if needed. Otherwise the communication before checkin with door codes, etc. was very easy and convenient. The aparto itself was comfortable, clean and quiet. We would recommend this to anyone wanting a nice aparto style accommodation in Porto with nice restaurants close by (for dine-in or takeaway).”

  Excellent property. Clean, neat and very tidy. Had everything you need in a rental property for a short or long term stay. The hosts were very responsive to messages and clear and concise instructions on how to enter the place. Lovely apartment and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

  The beds weren't the most comfy, ours at home was much better which was a shame. The hotel positions itself as dog friendly however our dog wasn't allowed in any bar or restaurant spaces, despite being allowed last year and being allowed in the bar area of a neighbouring Malmaison that had recently opened further into town. on top of this the bar staff were incredibly rude to us when we tried to use the bar area, as we had no idea dogs weren't allowed. This meant all meals for the two nights, breakfast and dinner, and drinks with friends had to be consumed outside of her hotel. We found some great dog-friendly places nearby but could eat any meals or spend any time in the hotel, except in our room. We also had no coffee in our room, no conditioner in the shower and no-one turned down our beds at any point. For a four star hotel it was disappointing all round tbh.
