Amazing views, and a peaceful atmosphere. Sealoch Cottage was well equipped with everything a person would need in a holiday home. The kitchen had great facilities, wifi was strong, and the sauna was a unique and welcome feature after days of hiking. It was lovely to take meals in the conservatory, to enjoy the view of the loch beyond. The bed was very comfortable, and I especially loved the freestanding bathtub.

I loved everything about the cottage. However, those that may want to minimise driving time on the Isle of Lewis may want to stay on the West, which is closer to many of the popular tourist spots.

Lovely, clean and comfortable. Andy and Shiela were very welcoming even though I was dripping mucky water everywhere after a 4 hour motorbike ride in the pouring rain! Excellent price and lovely room. Most people these days seem to want en suite, but it’s not a bad thing having a shared bathroom with just a couple of other rooms, and it worked nicely here. Breakfast was fabulous!

No restaurants nearby but an easy bus ride to a couple, helpful directions from Andy & Shiela!

The property itself was lovely. Within walking distance to the centre. The bed was so comfy. We were heading to a wedding the following day, the apartment had all the amenities that we needed for the night and morning to get ready. The little gift in the kitchen was a welcome surprise.

Such a lovely, comfortable, quiet place. Excellent stay for our visit to this part of the UK. Very helpful owners who provided us with mik, bread and bikkies for our arrival. A "Definitly stay again"!

Absolutely nothing

The location was good, easy to get to from the west where we were traveling from. Close to train stations to get into town. The room was a good size and had a small fridge which was useful.

The WiFi wasn't that good, often falling out.

Good sized room with nicely refurbished facilities. Helpful small touches like coffee and milk pots, and a room fragrancer.
Negative section of review
The hallways and entrance are still under refurbishment so it's a bit untidy, same for the carpark. Little finishing jobs in the room could be completed eg. Hide cable and pipe fittings in the bathroom.

Very impressed with the breakfast, good selection to choose from. Good location, close to lots of restaurants.
Negative section of review
The bathroom was very small, which was disappointing for a premier room. The sachets of hot chocolate were not replenished. Used glass not washed/replaced with a clean one.
Positive section of review
Staff and food were excellent, beds were very comfortable and locals friendly.

Although our motorcycles were parked behind the hotel. It would have been ideal if there had been a secure fenced area to store them for piece of mind.

Great room space, easy parking, lovely bed

Could have provided two towels for both guests and could have been two robes but not the end of the world about the robe

Convenient location with friendly staff
