Great little hotel. We had an excellent room with a sea view. Everything in the hotel and room well presented, clean, tidy and well decorated and maintained. Room had everything we needed, wardrobe space, draw space, plenty of sockets a smart TV, mini fridge and heating if needed. Nice clean shower and toilet. Bed was clean and comfortable. Owners and staff were brilliant, very helpful, friendly, polite and professional. Breakfast was good with a variety of food and drinks available both hot and cold. Location was ideal just two minutes from the centre of town, the bus station, bars, eateries and shops etc, and five minutes from the beach / seafront. Also has a car park which is a great bonus.

Minor problem with the shower being a bit dribbly, but not enough to cause any problems, and a little problem with 'light spillage' into the room at night from the corridor but again this didn't cause us any bother.

The most fantastic hosts! Shaan and Sef are friendly, accommodating, fascinating, creative and fun! I think we could be lifelong friends! Beautifully designed accommodation with lots of thought put into the details for a comfortable stay. The serene pastoral view of the paddock with grazing sheep is an added plus.

Memory foam mattress could be more comfortable for problematic back issues. This became a minor issue as everything else was perfect.

Nice apartment, comfy enough for a 4 night break. Parking ok. Quite pricey for how tight the spaces are for the Pope's Head. But apart from that we would recommend the old hotel with the popes head that we stayed in
