The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.

When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.

After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

The property was clean, tidy and comfortable and the view from the balcony was definitely great! There was milk, tea bags, coffee sachets and some biscuits available on arrival, so we could unpack and relax. It was only a short drive of about 5 to 10 minutes into the nearby town of Hayle, where there were a number of supermarkets to get other provisions from, and also a few restaurants to choose from. It was also an easy day trip out to Lands End.

No problems at all, although it was a shame we didn't get to meet our hosts.

Super friendly staff that welcomed us. The resort is really close to the beach, depending on which chalet you're in. Fine for somewhere to crash when you're spending your days out and about. Also, St Ives is beautiful and a great location that isn't too far from other places to visit, Lands End, Penzance, Gweek (Seal Sanctuary), Newquay were a few we did.

The chalets could do with an update and some new mattresses. They weren't the most comfortable to sleep on. Some towels and somewhere to hang wet clothes would also be great as that was a struggle. The shower is also pretty slippy, some sort of matt to step out on to would be good too. Also, there is no hand soap in the bathroom? Or hand towels? Luckily there was a Lidl nearby but not what we expected to need to grab after an 8 hour drive.

The apartment is very well equipped. I loved the make up desk. And the bathroom was very light. The mattress was not too soft and not too hard, had a good sleep. The street is very quiet. Around the corner is everything you need: take-away, shops, pubs. I enjoyed my stay here. If I come back one day to Torquey I would stay there again.

Well maintained and had all the amenities we needed. There was a slight hiccup in receiving the access codes to our property but the staff were more than helpful in sorting this out

The apartment decor was nice and the kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms were clean.

The toilet seat didn’t fit the toilet. When you used it we would slide to the side. It was really uncomfortable. The apartment smelt musty. I couldn’t get the window to close in the kitchen and it was cold. The blind in the front room was on the floor behind the sofa and there were no blinds in the kitchen. I didn’t feel I could relax due to not being able to close any blinds in the living area. No hand towel in the bathroom. In the bunk bed room I had to clip 3 slats of the blind to fix it so my mum wasn’t woken by the light and so she could have privacy. I think using the word luxury is very misleading. I only stayed 1 night otherwise I would have complained.

The location was good, the room was comfortable and the facilities were good.

Getting to the room was a challenge, there were several flights of stairs going up and going down and then up and down again! The wifi was poor.

Single room was rather small but had everything required so not a complaint!

Very good location and friendly staff

Lots of outside noise with the windows open and very hot when you shut them. The breakfast options are very confusing. Either you want a continental breakfast or a cooked breakfast in my opinion?
