  Very comfortable bed. Good powerful shower and easy to operate. There was a thermostat in the room so it could be set to whatever suits the guests.. It was very tranquil and away from the hustle and bustle. The hosts were very knowledgeable about the area and very happy to share their knowledge. Lovely breakfasts, and don't forget to try the prize-winning marmalade. If you need tips on where to find the best ice cream, ask Les.

  Lovely lady on arrival, freshly vacuumed carpets lovely smell, bedding and towels clean and crisp. Bathroom was spotless. Asked for more tea and sugar was not a problem was giving extra straight away by another member of staff (sorry never got his name but charming to say the least) . Finally location perfect.

  Bedroom door locks were a nightmare very difficult to lock and unlock. Was in need of a little TLC.

  This is a very well run hotel, well staffed by helpful and very pleasant people. Our room was very well equipped with a super and spacious bathroom. The food was to a high standard and beautifully served. You felt 'at home'. We would stay here again.

  The room was wonderful, with lots of amenities, clean and tidy. Breakfast was wonderful and enabled us to eat when we wanted to. Location was fab and parking easy. Loved having a bath and super shower - great choices.

  It was chilly at night but there weren't any extra layers for the bed, blanket or alternative quilt. The nespresso machine sadly leaks.
