Quiet location, a little remote but within easy distance of Aberaeron. Enjoyed watching good variety of birds in the garden. Good beaches within easy striking distance (Tresaith, Penbryn, Aberporth, Cwmtudu and even Mwnt a little further away). The compact size of the annexe was fine for us but some might might not cope

Washbasin in the bathroom is minute and at a height for midgets. Shower is good though. Pothole at entrance to drive catches the unwary.

The location was excellent. It was very comfortable. It was very clean. The neighbour and her lovely dogs gave us a very warm welcome. She also gave us very helpful instructions to find our venue. The parking facility was excellent. Beds very comfortable. Tea/coffee facility.

The pillows were slightly too big, which made it uncomfortable to sleep ... although the beds and bedding were amazing. It would have been great to have milk even UHT capsules for the tea/coffee facilities.

Great location. Close to amenities in Minehead but also far enough away so you can't hear Butlins. Great place to stay if you are planning on exploring the local areas.

My bedroom was right above the kitchen/restaurant, so I heard them take beer barrels out and emptying the bins during my stay.

The hotel is old and friendly in a handy location not far from the sea. The breakfast was excellent.
Negative section of review
The room a little shabby and the windows could not be opened. The WiFi does not work in the rooms - only in the bar.

The room was comfortable

The heating was not controlled by guests and also the bathroom in my room was ok but i then stayed again next week and you put me in 157 and the bathroom was ridiculous....put some investment into new flooring and fixtures in your bathrooms because the one in 157 was unacceptable. We are paying customers not immigrants getting a free life from the uk government

Comfort beds

A/C keep switching off automatically. It is not nice keep waking up in the middle of the night multiple time to turn on A/C. Although was expensive room in 4 star hotel, I have been asked to pay extra amount of money for disposable slippers which are free anywhere else. Not much of food variety on breakfast menu.
